Known as one of the most epic routes in the world and on my to-do for some years now. We started our west coast round trip in LA and went through the hills to Malibu and on to continu the highway 1 to San Francisco. For me the coolest thing was to visit Santa Cruz. It brings back memories.

We went from south to north which most people would’t recommend because you’re not driving at sea side which makes you miss out on the incredible views. Out experience is that is minimal and we stopped at most places anyway. I can understand why people say that, but we didn’t have the feeling we missed out on anything. But I can be something to consider.
