So the 2 weeks may holiday was coming and we were wondering what to do. Since we had a busy time behind us, we thought about a nice trip. But were to go? Greece for a bit of sun? Italy of Spain perhaps? Then Karen came up with Scotland. That sounded good for the both of us, but we also both had not a really good idea of what to expect. So hello to Google (Maps/Earth) and Instagram etc. The more we read into it, the cooler the idea got..

So one lead to another and we booked the ferry and our first 2 stays. The rest was up to faith..

We stayed in some very good hotels and in a few, let’s say, not that good hotels. In short it was a great trip which incredible views! Some are easy to acces and others have to be earned. But we were ready for some good hikes and that’s what we did.
